About Us

Hardwood Renovations was started in 1981 by Chuck Crispin in Terre Haute, IN.
The business has evolved over the past twenty-five years from a general
remodeling firm into a highly specialized hardwood flooring company. Chuck
brought his brother John Crispin on board in 1989 and began what would be a
decade of award winning flooring endeavors. John bought the business from his
brother in 2001 and continued the legacy of superb craftsmanship that Hardwood
Renovations was built upon. The National Wood Flooring Association has
bestowed upon us the highest award a flooring company can receive on many

We offer all types of hardwood flooring options, from unfinished and pre-finished
hardwood flooring solutions, to custom design and installation of laser cut
medallions and border accents. Our true passion and specialty is traditional
square edged, sanded and finished on site, hardwood floors. We pride ourselves
on our quality workmanship and experience in the field. For us, the customer's
satisfaction is priority number one. Every client has different needs and desires.
We work one on one with our customers to assure that every aspect of their
custom hardwood floor is exactly what they have envisioned.

In 2005 we opened our hardwood flooring showroom located at 1441 S. 17th
Street in Terre Haute, Indiana. The showroom displays our wide selection of
hardwood flooring styles as well as some of the borders and medallion inlays that
we have available. We are right in the center of town and are open from 8:30am
to 4:30pm weekdays and by appointment. Feel free to stop by and take a look
